Legal Notice
Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to Cultural IP, including account features, AI-assisted workflows, and connected-platform imports.
Service Scope
Cultural IP provides tools for organizing creative work, source metadata, IP-readiness notes, and related workflow records. Cultural IP does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not automatically submit copyright, trademark, patent, or other legal filings.
You are responsible for reviewing all outputs, confirming source records, and consulting qualified counsel before relying on any recommendation for legal, filing, licensing, financing, employment, or other high-stakes decisions.
Accounts And Security
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account or a connected platform authorization has been compromised.
You may not use another person's account or connect third-party platforms unless you have permission to access and process that account's data through Cultural IP.
Connected Platforms
When you connect services such as Google Drive, YouTube, Dropbox, GitHub, Figma, Notion, Canva, Vimeo, Dribbble, Gumroad, LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord, Patreon, Spotify, Etsy, SoundCloud, Twitch, X, Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Pages, or Threads, you authorize Cultural IP to request only the permissions shown during that provider's authorization flow.
Cultural IP uses connected-platform data to provide user-facing source organization, metadata import, portfolio context, and IP-readiness features. We do not sell, resell, license, or redistribute platform-derived data.
Each connected platform has its own terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with those third-party terms when you authorize access, import source records, publish content, or use platform-derived information.
User Content
You retain your rights in content, documents, files, metadata, and other materials you provide to Cultural IP. You grant Cultural IP the limited rights needed to host, process, display, analyze, back up, secure, and support that material for the services you request.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, connect, or process any content you provide through the service.
AI And Automation
Cultural IP may use AI systems to summarize metadata, identify gaps, draft recommendations, and support workflow automation. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by you before external use.
Cultural IP does not use your content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Cultural IP to violate law, infringe intellectual property rights, upload malware, bypass access controls, scrape platforms without authorization, impersonate others, or process sensitive information without a lawful basis and appropriate permissions.
We may suspend or limit access when necessary to protect users, connected platforms, our systems, or legal compliance.
Deletion And Disconnect
You may disconnect platforms from your account and may request deletion of account or platform-derived data. Instructions are available on the public data deletion page.
Deletion may be limited by security, fraud-prevention, backup, legal, tax, billing, dispute, or compliance obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use of Cultural IP after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
Memberships, credits and account choices
Version cip-commercial-2026-10-01-v4
Free use and saving
You can browse CIP Companion and TSA without an account. A registered Free account is required to ask Companion a question, start a TSA check or upload a file, including document review in Companion. Free access includes 10 one-time Companion Credits. Free accounts also include three one-time TSA checks on supported platforms. Creating an account does not add or restart usage. If you previously used a guest trial, its chats remain available for seven days from the start of that trial. Creating an account during that window can retain permitted work; after expiry, signing in preserves remaining usage but does not recover expired content.
Memberships and recurring billing
©IP Companion is $49 per month or $499 per year. ©IP Family Member is $99 per month or $999 per year and is an individual membership, not a household or multi-seat account. The selected subscription renews at its stated billing frequency until you turn off renewal. ©IP Companion includes 100 Companion Credits each service month. ©IP Family Member includes 200 Companion Credits each service month. The separate number of monthly TSA checks is shown before purchase. Availability of a platform does not mean it is connected to your account.
How Companion Credits work
Companion Credits cover answers from CIP Companion, personal recommendations and requested document review in Companion. Each completed useful answer uses one credit, regardless of its length. Manual file uploads, platform imports, rescans and Studio reports do not use Companion Credits; these features have separate processing limits. Both paid memberships include supported platform connections, public-link imports and custom TSA policy URLs. Saved-report comparisons and Report Studio require ©IP Family Member. Free and paid accounts include an IP Portfolio and Asset Rooms for all IP types identified in their uploaded content; paid memberships also include connected-platform content. TSA checks are counted separately. Credits and checks are service usage limits, not money, cash balances or refundable stored value.
Completed results and pending requests
A completed useful Companion answer, including explained uncertainty, uses one Companion Credit. Confirmed technical failures or incomplete generation release the reserved credit. Replies that only ask for clarification or decline a request without substantive work use no credit. Unknown outcomes keep their credit reserved until resolved. Reopening a saved result or replaying the same completed request does not charge again. A TSA check is used once when an explicitly requested, qualifying version becomes newly owned and retrievable, whether generated fresh or obtained through validated reuse. Reopening an already-owned version uses no check; a newly requested changed version does. An unfavorable or Gray finding alone is not a failed check.
Capacity and resets
Your Companion Credits and TSA checks are separate from the service's processing capacity. New work can pause when processing capacity is unavailable even if credits or checks remain; unused credits and checks are preserved. Paid Companion Credits and TSA checks renew monthly on the original service anniversary, with no rollover. Annual subscriptions receive monthly grants rather than a full year's usage in advance. The original UTC day and time are retained; short months use their last day and later months return to the original day. Pending outcomes settle against their original period and do not add released capacity to a new period.
Changing or ending a membership
Turning off renewal keeps the purchased plan through the paid monthly or annual term, including monthly credits and checks during a paid annual term. Turning renewal back on adds no extra credits or checks and does not reset the anniversary. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing renewal, subject to eligibility. A same-frequency upgrade takes effect after confirmed additional payment and the applied subscription change. Any immediate additional Companion Credits and TSA checks, along with the exact payment, are shown before confirmation. Annual payment proration covers the remaining paid year, while usage increments cover only the remaining service month. Billing-frequency changes and other adjustments require billing support.
Account deletion and billing questions
Turning off renewal and permanently deleting an account are different choices. Delete account now ends account access and removes eligible account content after recurring billing is durably stopped, including access that would otherwise remain during a paid term. You must explicitly acknowledge that consequence. If billing or payment outcomes cannot yet be confirmed, your sign-in is preserved so you can retry. Necessary billing, security and unresolved usage records can remain as described in the Privacy Policy. Turning off renewal or deleting an account does not automatically request or promise a refund. Contact CIP@CulturalIP.World for billing or refund questions; this notice does not limit rights that apply by law.
