In September 2021, I went home to Florissant, Missouri.

In October 2021, I pushed my grandmother in her wheelchair to the security checkpoint of Lambert St. Louis airport - she wanted to return home.

​

In November 2021, my grandmother passed away in Amaba Amaokwa Item - her home village. 

​

In February 2022, I traveled with my father to our home village of Item. We honored the life of my grandmother, Esther Ojiugo Oteh.
